The 1943 Living Room

Living Room through Door

The Museum strives to show the home front as well as the overseas theaters of war as much as possible. This room depicts a St. Thomas living room in 1943. It is just one of the ways we illustrate what life was like during the Second World War period. We have even included the family cat having a nap on the couch.

This is the last room on the virtual tour of the Museum. Please join us again sometime soon. We would love to have you as a visitor to the Museum. We are always changing exhibits so even if you have been to the Museum before, come back again to see what's new. Please also check this website for more up to date news about the Museum.
