Petty Officer Ross Galloway
In the 1930's Ross Galloway was a Canadian flyweight boxing champion, and was inducted into the Canadian Boxing Hall of Fame in 1988. During World War II, he enlisted in the Canadian Navy, serving as a Petty Officer. He worked as a baker aboard ships and was on active service for all five years of the War.
