Veteran's Records

The Elgin Military Museum has a collection of records for over 9,000 veterans from Elgin County. We document Elgin County military involvement from before the Boer War to present day military activities. If you have relatives who are connected to Elgin County that were in the Armed Services or are currently serving, please let us know. The standard request form for veteran's information should be filled out and mailed or emailed to the museum, along with any other information you can provide. The form has been placed at the bottom of this page for download in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word, and Printable format. If you require Acrobat Reader to view this document, a link to download this program is also at the bottom of this page. If you have any other information about your family member, we would love to have a copy to add to our files. Are you researching your family genealogy and have some relatives that served in the Armed Forces? Please contact us if we could help research these details. For a sample of our records, please look at the examples found in the veteran's records menu above.
