Elgin Soldiers

Second Special Service Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment

Three officers of the 91st Battalion, Elgin Regiment relinquished their commissions to serve in South Africa with the Second Special Service Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment.

  • Lt  J.E. "Edge" Farley (died of enteric fever Feb. 1900 at the Orange River)
