Holzminden POW Camp

Holzminden was one of many German prisoner of war camps during the Great War. More about this camp and others will appear on this website over time. For those who want to learn more about the prisoner of war experiences of servicemen associated with Elgin County, Dreams of Food and Freedom, by Jeffery Booth, a publication of the Elgin Military Museum can be purchased from the museum shop.
